Jinxuan Milk Oolong by Cultivate Tea, Vancouver
25g
Jinxuan is a Taiwanese oolong varietal often called “milk oolong” for its naturally creamy character.
Cultivate’s Jinxuan comes from a small, high-altitude farm in the Alishan Mountain range, where tea trees thrive in cool mist and cloud cover year-round. These conditions bring out the best in Jinxuan: a tea that is vibrant, sweet, and full-bodied.
Unlike many milk oolongs on the market, this is true, unflavoured Jinxuan. It drinks like steamed milk, and has a buttery mouthfeel. There’s a gentle dustiness, a satisfying density, and a clean floral finish that reminds us of freshly washed cotton. It’s a tea that references everything soft and comforting. With each infusion, it becomes milkier and more enchanting.
Notes: Sweet cream, and vanilla cookies.
